This painting always reminds me of the different shapes water can take. The painting reflects it all: the waves of the ocean, the drops of rain on your window, the fluidity of water and the depth of life.
 
There is always something new to discover, each time you look at it. There is depth in the layers of the different shades and each drop of paint tells a different story.
 
It was created in a phase of my life where I was searching for the meaning of life. The depth of it. I was looking for my own story and now, a couple of years later, I still am. And I might always be looking for it. I've found that you can never really grasp that hugeness of what we are with your mind. You can never fit the  depths of your being into one story. Just like water, we are fluid and we are deep. With many beautiful layers that all tell a different story; and all of those stories are a part of the depth of our being.
All the drops of water are part of the ocean of who we are.
