When you approach life from an abundance mindset, you open a door to act out of playfulness and lightness. You get to see your life and the challenges around you as your playground. You can try and see which choices affect your reality in what way, but without the fear of losing anything that’s truly important to you.
When you’re aligning with spirit, you’ll understand that you can speak, act and do without thinking too much, because there’s nothing for you to lose. I’m not saying you shouldn’t think your choices through or choose your words consciously, but life will give you plenty of opportunities to make mistakes without losing. In fact, it’s offering you those 5, 10 or 20 opportunities of the same kind, because it wants you to understand that you have time to grow. Life will keep on throwing the same situations at you without giving you the real deal until you’re ready for it. It will never make you lose anything that’s truly important to you. There is nothing you can lose. Only gain.
Spirit, your divine soul and your guides will always bring you the clues you need to succeed and it’s up to us to learn to accept the help we get from within. It’s a wonderful thing to start seeing that all the things that happen to us are actually keys and clues that lead us to our highest potential.
I reckon that the belief that everything that happens around me is for my highest good, a wonderful and powerful truth. We all know it’s true, and yet we prefer to give our mind the benefit of the doubt and ignore our heart and intuition anyway. Well, more often than not I have experienced that that does not work out very well. And at some point, I commanded my spirit and my mind to simply accept universal truths as the truth and to stop mentally trying to understand why. So, as an example, I took the following affirmation and adopted it as my truth and decided to stop doubting it: “Everything that happens to me or around me is for my best and highest benefit”
And suddenly I started to see opportunities to grow everywhere. Where I used to be afraid of losing stuff, I suddenly understood that I don’t have to do everything right all at once. There’s nothing to lose. Life will present me with opportunities to take baby step after baby step. And does that mean that someone or something I thought I wanted or needed disappeared from my life from time to time? Yes. It does. But even more so, it means that I was preparing myself to receive what I truly, deeply desired. And life was preparing me for that by teaching me how to keep it.
And to me, that’s the clue to the abundance mindset: realizing that challenges are not about losing something; they are about teaching us how to manifest our desired reality.
So I want to playfully invite you to try it for yourself. Adopt the mindset that everything happens for your highest benefit and that there is ALWAYS an upside to why it’s happening to you. Focus on what there is to gain, and gaining you will.
With all my light, love, kindness, and appreciation,
Lynn
